Kaamatan and Gawai Holiday

Rasa seronok dapat membantu mereka dalam membuat persiapan. salah satunya adalah membuat pelamin. walaupun tak seberapa tapi cukuplah untuk permulaan, baru nak menimba ilmu hehe... so this is our masterpiece (Me and my cousin)... we just use anything we have to decorate the pelamin..we lack of flowers actually but thanks God it's not that empty hehe...

One thing i really miss about perkahwinan kampung (at my village) is, we villagers gather together to help in wedding preparation like masak2, decorate2 and even do cleaning at bride's house..

we cooking-cooking hehe... (31st May)

on the next day (1st Jun) was my another cousin's wedding..
on that day i brought along my friends from PKK.. (Ms. K and Mr. C). most of my relatives thought that Mr.C was my tanak wagu hahaha..even my aunty came to my house to get a closer look of Mr.C... wahahaha..it's so funny. i really appreciate them for attending this event even though it's too far from town...thanks so much my dear friends..

This is my best friend, Ms. Kristy..
I don't want to upload Mr.C photo due to privacy matter hehe...
It was really fun...my holiday this time was really amazing, full of activities..from watching movie, wedding event and even bakuteh time hehe.. though i got flu and cough after...

can't wait to my next balik kampung!

The testing of my faith...

Faith is our unflinching reliance on God. I'm glad that God is not a slippery commodity that slides out of our hands or a moving target we cannot trust. God doesn't play hide and seek with us. He has revealed His promises, His ways and His character to us. They are reliable, solid and clearly true. They do not change. His promises;

Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you (Heb. 13:5)

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose (Rome. 8:28)

Perseverance must finish it's works so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything (Jam. 1:4)

God give me the strength to face every new day in my life. Sometimes i feel empty and nothing and useless. Peace and joy that's what I longed for...

How To Help Those Who Hurt

When I have asked suffering people, “Who helped you?” not one person has mentioned a PhD from a prestigious seminary or a famous philosopher. All of us have the same capacity to help those who hurt.

No one can package or bottle the “appropriate” response to suffering. If you go to the sufferers themselves, some will recall a friend who cheerily helped distract them from their illness. Others think such an approach insulting. Some want honest, straightforward talk; others find such discussion unbearably depressing.

There is no magic cure for a person in pain. Mainly, such a person needs love, for love instinctively detects what is needed. Jean Vanier, who founded the L’Arche movement for the developmentally disabled, says: “Wounded people who have been broken by suffering and sickness ask for only one thing: a heart that loves and commits itself to them, a heart full of hope for them.”

Such a love may be painful for us. But real love, the apostle Paul reminds us, “Bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things” (1 Cor. 13:7).

As is so often His pattern, God uses very ordinary people to bring about His healing. Those who suffer don’t need our knowledge and wisdom, they need our love. — Philip Yancey

O brother man, fold to thy heart thy brother!
Where pity dwells, the peace of God is there;
To worship rightly is to love each other,
Each smile a hymn, each kindly deed a prayer. —Whittier

They do not truly love who do not show their love. —Shakespeare

My hard time...

“It is likely that you need to confess some hidden anger and resentment at God for certain areas of your life where you have felt cheated or disappointed. Until we mature enough to understand that God uses everything for good in our lives, we harbor resentment toward God over our appearance, background, unanswered prayers, past hurts, and other things we would change if we were God. People often blame God for hurts caused by others. This creates what William Backus calls your hidden rift with God.
Bitterness is the greatest barrier to friendship with God; why would I want to be God’s friend if he allowed this? The antidote, of course, is to realize that God always acts in your best interest, even when it is painful and you don’t understand it. But releasing your resentment and revealing your feeling is the first step to healing. As so many people in the bible did, tell God exactly how you feel.”
~The Purpose Driven Life; Chapter 12~
By Rick Warren

“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, Plans to give you hope and a future” ~Jeremiah 29:11.

The motive of our prayer is supposed to be to honor Him and not to control Him.

Tuhan katakan, rancanganmu bukanlah rancanganKu.

Setelah beberapa hari berlalu, saya semakin dikuatkan. Saya tahu ramai kawan-kawan saya yang sedang berdoa untuk saya juga. Saya sangat bersyukur punya teman-teman yang sangat prihatin. God bless you guys… Saya mulai belajar untuk bersyukur. Lama-kelamaan saya dapat melihat banyak kebaikkan yang saya perolehi daripada kekecewaan itu. Antaranya;

• Iman saya semakin dikuatkan

Dalam Matthew 11:28 mengatakan, ‘come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light’.

Teguran yang saya terima daripada The Purpose Driven Life, “Those who have hurt you in the past cannot continue to hurt you now unless you hold on to the pain though resentment. Your past is past! Nothing will change it. You are only hurting yourself with your bitterness. For your own sake, learn from it, and then let it go. The Bible says, To worry yourself to death with resentment would be a foolish, senseless thing to do.”

Lagu ini sangat memberkati saya, Dia Mengerti by Maria Shandi

DIA MENGERTI

Terkadang kita merasa
Tak ada jalan terbuka
Tak ada lagi waktu terlambat sudah
Tuhan tak pernah berdusta
Dia s’lalu pegang janjinya
Bagi orang percaya mukjizat nyata

Dia mengerti
Dia peduli
Persoalan yang sedang terjadi
Dia mengerti, Dia peduli
Persoalan yang kita alami
Namun satu yang Dia minta agar kita percaya
Sampai mukjizat menjadi nyata

Thought of the day

Too Often

Too often we don't realize
What we have until it is gone.
Too often we wait too late to say
"I'm sorry - I was wrong."
Sometimes it seems we hurt the ones
We hold dearest to our hearts;
And we allow foolish things
To tear our lives apart.
Far too many times we let
Unimportant things into our minds;
And then it's usually too late
To see what made us blind.
So be sure that you let people know
How much they mean to you.
Take the time to say the words
Before your time is through.
Be sure that you appreciate
Everything you've got;
And be thankful for the little things
in life that mean a lot.

Today....

Hari ni seluruh KK hujan the whole day, so we just stay in office...rainy day is a disaster for us huhuhu...there is nothing we can do to run our project progress on site...

Yesterday, saya sangat bersyukur sebab Allah yang saya sembah menuntun sepanjang perjalanan saya dari awal pagi ke tempat kerja sehinggalah balik dari kerja in the afternoon. Semasa balik dari kerja, kali ini saya menggunakan jalan Lintas since my cousin tumpang kawan dia hari ini. so, on the way balik, i drive with usual speed 80km/h (well that's consider regular speed rite..?). Usually when i m alone, i like to sing along...sing and shout loud hehe..so, i m on my routine when suddenly the car in front of me stop (all of sudden!!!) there is a U turn over there and many cars are on queue. We are only about 3-4m away each other before and driving on the same speed.. I m shaking! i almost hit his car...with my 80km/h speed, i could just injured my self badly or even kills me..it's really scared me, i couldn't stop thank God for keep me safe and avoid me from involve in accident. Really thanks God i arrived home safely!

Today, : we gonna have fellowship tonight, I really hope that we will be blessed to bless others!

have a wonderful day!
